According to the trend of previous images, the newly released images bring back many familiar faces, such as the killer Ghost face, who is staring intently at a knife, and the final girl Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), who is ready to defend herself with a gun. It is also worth noting that one of Total Film’s exclusive images additionally features David Arquette’s debonair lawman Dewey Riley.

This lawman is back in the franchise and appears to be protecting a newcomer in an elevator named Melissa Barrera. The leaked images also tease another one of Ghost Face’s new victims. This is a man lying face down on the pavement and on the road as he prepares to stab him.

As the fatal encounter happens at night, a couple of car headlights will illuminate the scene, illuminating the gruesome scene that is about to take place. Additionally, in addition to Campbell and Arquette, Scream will feature Courteney Cox as journalist Gale Weathers, Marley Shelton as Sheriff Judy Hicks, Roger L. Williams, and Marley Shelton.

Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mikey Madison, Kyle Gallner, Dylan Minnette, and Sonia Ben Ammar are part of the newcomers’ cast. As far as the Scream franchise is concerned, this is the first installment not directed by Wes Craven. James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick are writing it, and Kevin Williamson, who has previously written the franchise’s screenplay, will be executive producing the film.

As a result, Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will be helming the film, along with their Radio Silence banner, which will also be producing it as part of the project. Featuring official posters that remind fans that Ghost Face “is always someone you know,” the franchise revival will keep in line with the style of previous installments.

It was such a strong desire on the part of the Scream team to avoid unintentional spoilers that even Ghost Face’s identity was kept a secret from all the cast members during the filming process to avoid unintentional spoilers leaking out during the screening. Paranoia has also been infecting the crew behind the cameras, as multiple versions of the script were used, as well as numerous alterations made in post-production to make Scream.
